Kidney stones 8th October 2011 13:40 #1 |
|
Dear Doctor Soós, I have kidney stones since age 18. Regularly have kidney pains, mostly on rights side. I have been to many doctors. According to one of them I will have them for all my life. I am 32 now and still have little stones in my kidneys. My question is - Is there relation between kidney stones and metabolic disorder? Thanks in advance Rovi

Dear Rovi, The realtion is between uric acid level and kidney stones. If U have a metabolic disorder causing hyperuricaemia there could be problems as uric acid kidney stones and joint problems. Regards dr. Soos
