Datasheet of Dr. Tóth Attila

Attila Tóth MD finished Semmelweis University's Faculty of General Medicines in 2002. During the University years he participated in cell culture experiments under the guidance of Judit Makara MD PhD in Prof András Spät's lab. The scientific work included single cell patch clamp and fluorimetry measurements of rat adrenal zona glomerulosa and glial cells. He chose radiology as his speciality and started his rotations as a resident right after finishing the University. His attention turned to cardiovascular CT and MR diagnostics at the beginning. He became officially part of the Cardiovascular Surgery Department's Radiology staff in 2004. The diagnostic unit was later taken over by the Cardiology Center governed by Prof Béla Merkely MD DSc, while the Diagnostic unit is led by Prof Kálmán Hüttl. The head of the CT-MR section, György Balázs MD helped him to gather experience. He had engaged in cardiac magnetic resonance as a subspeciality, his main interest is the non-invasive MR imaging of congenital heart diseases. Cardiac MR method was introduced by Prof Tamás Simor MD PhD from Pécs. In 2008 he recieved the radiology board certification. He is now working as a graduate student. His main topics are: cardiac MR evaluation of olympic athletes and developing a novel MR characterisation method for myocardial assessment. He performs his experiments as the student of the Semmelweis University Graduate school.
He has a twinbrother: Csaba Tóth, who is a Comupter Scientist and also expert in Economic IT. His twin is currently loceted in the US.
